Hiking

Anyone interested in taking a hike?

I hope (weather permitting) to take anyone who is interested on a short but lovely hike one of the days we are in Townsend. The "Big Kids" can no doubt go on their own, but perhaps some of the little-er tykes would like a guide. The trail is wide and soft and there is a creek alongside it almost the whole way ... even a couple of places where little ones can dangle their feet in the water, perhaps. (That will depend on the water depths and speed ... unless there has been lots of rain recently, it is usually pretty calm in mid-summer.)

I will need at least one or two other adults, not necessarily the parents of the kids who choose to go, to come along.

No charge for this off-campus activity --- but any grownup who goes gets a pass from cooking or washing dishes that day!
